BP is one of the UK's biggest companies, a global organisation employing 100, 000 people in 100 countries.  Our main activities are the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas; refining, marketing, supply and transportation; and the manufacture and marketing of petrochemicals.  Key elements of BP's business are strongly represented in the UK, including offshore oil and gas exploration and production, crude oil and natural gas transportation and the marketing of petroleum products.

Our North Sea business is managed from Aberdeen and BP is one of the largest operators with production of some 350, 000 barrels of oil and gas per day and investment of over $3bn annually.
