Cyber Security Guest Lecture by Rick Hemsley – Managing Director Security at Accenture

Rick Hemsley, the Managing Director within Accenture Security UKI Practice, will discuss Cyber Security and its impact on business at Strathclyde Business School.

Rick has over 20 years of experience working with clients to achieve their business objectives and to deliver security advice across a number of verticals including: Media and Telecommunications; Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Alternative Asset Managers, and Private Equity); Energy; Utility; Government (Central and Devolved); and Hi-Tech Manufacturing.

He has worked with boards and executives to develop cyber security literacy, assisting them to understand the nature of threats leading to them establishing appropriate and informed risk appetites.

During his career, Rick has led teams delivering engagements across all of the domains within Accenture’s Security practice. His focus for the last 10 years, or so, has been on the development of solutions for clients and the contribution of thought leadership on the management of cyber security risk.
