SFE is delighted to invite you to a breakfast briefing with leading Scottish law firm Burness Paull looking at latest and future trends in the delivery of successful IT projects within the financial services sector.

In this session Burness Paull will examine the key opportunities and challenges for FS organisations in IT sourcing.  There will be a fresh look at outsourced IT and managed service projects and comparisons with evolving cloud integration and cloud brokerage models, which are becoming more prevalent in many sectors.  The session will touch on the impact of FCA Cloud Guidance finalised in July 2016 and provide latest thinking on relevant legal, regulatory and commercial issues.

Attendees will leave with recent updates and key practical tips on delivering success, based on Burness Paull’s extensive experience of major ICT projects for FS organisations.

The session is aimed primarily at IT procurement and operations professionals, and FS in-house legal counsel.  David Goodbrand, an FS sector specialist partner in the firm’s Commercial team will chair the briefing  and speakers include; Callum Sinclair, Partner and head of the Technology Sector group (named in The Times 2016 Digital List of 100 people from Scotland’s digital technology industries “changing the world”); and Lorna Finlayson, Partner and head of the Financial Services Regulatory division.

This event is kindly hosted by Burness Paull. This is a private event for SFE Members only, however, please pass on to any interested colleagues within your organisation.
