FinTech: auditing a digital future

Strathclyde University are hosting a panel discussion on auditing a digital future, which is inspired by a report on “The financial auditing of distributed ledgers, blockchain and cryptocurrencies”. The debate will begin with an introduction by the Chair, Daniel Broby, Director of Centre for Financial Regulation and Innovation and co-author of the report. The focus will be thoughts on how to address the growing need for financial oversight and an audit trail in a world that is fast moving to digital payments.

Prof. Anton Colella, Visiting Professor Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde and Chief Executive at the institute for Chartered Accountants in Scotland.
