The 2017 Nobel prize for Economics, awarded to Richard Thaler, highlighted the importance of Behavioural Finance to the industry. This talk will emphasise the behavioural research on gender differences in finance, the importance of gender diversity in corporate boards and similar themes. In this joint event with Women in Investment Edinburgh, Dr Arman Eshraghi, who was a finalist in Scottish Financial Enterprise’s inaugural Rising Star Award in 2017, will share his research into this area.
