SFE is delighted to invite you to a breakfast briefing with Burness Paull LLP to discuss upcoming changes in employment law in 2016 and how they will affect the financial services industry.
There have been significant developments in 2015 in the area of employment law which have a direct impact on the financial services industry and the pace of change is due to continue into 2016.
2015 saw the introduction of shared parental leave and further developments on the issue of commission and holiday pay. There has also been a consultation on the introduction of pay gap reporting which is due to come into force in Spring 2016 and changes to the taxation of termination payments.
The introduction of the new regulatory regime and changes to the remuneration codes for employees in the finance sector which are also on the horizon means there is a lot to consider.
The session will be led by Morag Hutchison who is a partner in Burness Paull’s employment practice.
This event is kindly hosted by Burness Paull LLP.
