Scottish Financial Enterprise has the pleasure of inviting you to attend a Breakfast Briefing with Carlyle looking at Impact Interims and the Changing Business Landscape.

Carlyle have assembled a panel of experienced executives to examine and discuss the impact of interim hires within financial services organisations. We will explore the expectations a business should have when hiring an impact interim and how to successfully manage an interim assignment for maximum positive impact. This Event is kindly hosted by Addleshaw Goddard.

Ongoing economic ambiguity and a rapidly changing business landscape across Financial Services are compelling businesses to adopt more flexible resourcing models that enable them to attract and recruit the right talent with greater speed and accuracy. Whether it be to manage change, deliver transformation, augment senior leadership teams, or tap into specialist talent that will help drive the business forward, interim executives provide an extra dynamic in terms of resource strategy.

Senior interim executives are highly experienced individuals who enter a business at senior management / Board level to undertake high-impact projects which actively move the needle on strategic objectives. These individuals have typically held a variety of senior leadership / C-Level positions and can apply that expertise to specific business challenges and objectives. Impact interim assignments may include:

  • Architecting and leading complex change programmes
  • Setting the roadmap for large-scale digital and technology implementation / transformation programmes
  • Undertaking an organisational / functional redesign or implementing specific development initiatives
  • Supporting businesses determine long-term strategies, both functionally and as part of wider future business planning
  • Helping prepare for M&A, sale or exit
