SFE & Pinsent Masons Event - 20 years of devolution – where next for Scotland?

Date:     Tuesday 18 June 2019

Time:     8.30am – 10.00am

Venue:  Pinsent Masons, Quay 2, 139 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9QG

Two decades have passed since the first Scottish Parliament elections took place. During this time the Scottish political landscape has undergone seismic change. Holyrood has accrued substantial, additional powers, enabling the Scottish Government to pursue a policy agenda increasingly divergent to that of the rest of the UK.

Our panellists, including former UK Government Minister Rt. Hon. Douglas Alexander and renowned pollster Mark Diffley, will appraise the performance of devolution to date and consider how the devolved institutions may present both challenges and opportunities for the financial services sector, and the wider Scottish business community in the future.
