The SFE Young Professionals is a new group, set up by young professionals for young professionals in Financial Services across the SFE membership. We aim to provide opportunities for career development, access to networking opportunities and events to develop industry knowledge and contacts, and promote Financial Services to the next generation looking to enter the sector.

SFE YP is delighted to announce its first event on 15 September 2016. We will be hearing from two speakers who are pioneering financial technology (FinTech) within their businesses, on how they see such technology changing the way financial services will operate. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A with the speakers and a discussion on how young professionals can engage with the opportunities that FinTech creates.

Patrick Eltridge, Chief Information Officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland, will talk us through how the bank has fostered FinTech development and how it will change the way the bank operates and interacts with its customers.

Phill Gillespie, Chief Product Officer at FinTech start-up Money Dashboard, will discuss his views on the development of technology and how this will affect our industry in the coming years.

This event is kindly hosted by Standard Life.  We hope these events will encourage networking amongst young professionals within the SFE membership and provide an opportunity to share experiences and insights.

This is a private, free event for SFE Members only.

Please feel free to pass on to any interested young professionals within your organisation.
