SFE YP Event | Body and Brain: Robotics and AI in Financial Services

Date: Thursday 3 June

Time: 3pm - 4pm

Join the SFE Young Professionals as we explore what AI and robotics are and the differences between them. Additionally, we’ll go through practical applications of robotics and AI within financial services, including the additional risks they present and how you can look to control them. There will be plenty of time for Q&A so please bring your questions with you.
Speaking at this event will be Rachel Bussom. Rachel is a Manager in the Financial Services Cybersecurity Consulting practice at EY, having been with the firm for close to six years. Her current areas of focus are within third party risk management and cyber assurance, with a keen interest in assurance of emerging technology risk, particularly artificial intelligence and robotics and how these present new risks to our technology environment. She has a degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh, where she focused on the intersection of language, evolution, and technology, and is always up for a chat about it. When not at work, she is an amateur fight choreographer and stage combat instructor for local Edinburgh theatre companies.
