Join the SFE Young Professionals, in partnership with Morgan Stanley, on Thursday 18th November 2021 for a Panel Discussion on Sustainability at Morgan Stanley with Vida Rudkin, Co-Head of Glasgow, Matt Slovik, Head of Global Sustainable Finance (GSF) and Navindu Katugampola, Global Head of Sustainability for Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
During the session, the group will discuss the evolution of GSF at Morgan Stanley, the Institute for Sustainable Investing, the Firm’s net zero commitment and the outcomes and observations from COP26. Matthew Slovik is a Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable Finance group, where he leads the firmwide sustainable finance strategy and focuses on mobilizing private-sector capital to address major global challenges. Matthew works across the firm to develop client-focused financial products and solutions that integrate sustainability and target strong financial returns as well as positive environmental or social impact. Under Matthew’s leadership, Morgan Stanley continues to develop innovative sustainable and impact investing solutions for institutions and individuals.
Navindu Katugampola is the Global Head of Sustainability for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) and the Global Head of Sustainable Investing for MSIM Fixed Income and Liquidity teams. Navindu was previously the Head of Green & Sustainability Bond Origination for Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets group. In this role served on both the Executive Committee and the Advisory Council of the ICMA Green and Social Bond Principles. In addition to his MSIM role, Navindu works with Morgan Stanley EMEA Firm Management on cross-divisional Sustainable Finance initiatives, product innovation and policy & regulatory engagement. He also co-chairs MSIM’s Sustainability Council.
Vida Rudkin is a Managing Director based in the Glasgow office. Vida is the Co-Head of the Glasgow Office, EMEA Operations COO and the EMEA Head of Operational Risk and Regulatory Control (ORRC). Vida holds positions on a the boards of MS UK Limited, MS Pension Trustees Ltd, Morstan Nominees Limited and Morgan Stanley Client Securities Nominees Limited. She also holds an external position on the board of Scottish Financial Enterprise.
