Location: Technology and Innovation Centre, 99 George Street, Glasgow

On Tuesday 1st of June Strathclyde’s Centre for Financial Regulation and Innovation will be holding “The Future of Fintech II”, a symposium on Glasgow’s contribution to developments in digital financial payments.  It is being held alongside the 7th International Conference of the Financial Engineering and Banking Society, sponsored by People Make Glasgow, which is attracting key academics in the Fintech field from around the world.

This event will further solidify Glasgows reputation in the Fintech space, bringing world class academics and local practitioners together under one roof.  It builds on the cutting edge research being done at Strathclyde university on financial blockchain and distributed ledgers.

The International Financial Services District benefits from the strong push that Glasgow is making in the field of Fintech.  Our local expertise is attracting both middle and back office outsourced jobs, thanks to the fintech savvy of local financial companies.

There will be a reception held afterwards for networking.   For the full event schedule and to find out how to register please go to Strathclyde Business Schools event page.
