SFE WELCOMES MAJOR BANKING JOBS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR EDINBURGH

Welcoming the announcement today by Tesco Personal Finance of a major expansion of its UK banking operations in Edinburgh, Owen Kelly, chief executive of Scottish Financial Enterprise, said:

Tesco Personal Finance's decision to create its headquarters in Edinburgh, along with hundreds of new jobs, is a real boost for the city. "
Tesco Personal Finance will create over 200 new jobs at a new Edinburgh headquarters and relocate 250 members of staff to a new building at Haymarket in the capital.
