SFE Business Continuity Update (Covid-19)

In light of the rapidly evolving Covid-19 (coronavirus) situation we wanted to share an update on what SFE is doing to support its team and wider membership.

We also want to recognise the appropriate measures our members are taking to help minimise the spread of the virus to protect their employees and communities as well as the range of initiatives, including new support packages, for customers and clients to mitigate the economic impact.

The health and wellbeing of our team, members and stakeholders is our main priority and we are continuing to monitor official advice and updates from the Scottish Government and NHS to ensure we are acting in accordance with the latest guidance. 

Given recent developments, we recognise the need to adopt proportionate measures, in line with our members’ own actions, to help minimise the risks in this rapidly evolving situation. 

As such, we have taken the decision to postpone all SFE events, including SFE Young Professionals events, for the foreseeable future. Members who have registered to attend upcoming events will be contacted directly by email.

We will also replace our regular special interest group and strategic initiative meetings with conference calls where possible. The secretariats of each group will contact members direct with further details.
