On behalf of the Bank of England we would like to invite you to attend one of two briefings on the Financial Policy Committee's Financial Stability Report that will be published on 24 June. Both briefings are being organised for contacts of the Bank of England's Agency for Scotland and members of Scottish Financial Enterprise.

The Bank has been producing a bi-annual Financial Stability Report for a number of years. However, the June report will be the first by the new Interim Financial Policy Committee. The briefing will cover the key risks to UK financial stability and work to mitigate them.

The briefings will be given by Niki Anderson, Head of the Risk Assessment Division in the Financial Stability Directorate at the Bank of England. She is responsible for monitoring system-wide risks to the UK financial system, particularly those emanating from household and corporate sector balance sheets and international financial markets. During the crisis, she headed a team assessing the financial health of the UK and global banking system. She has also worked in the Markets Area of the Bank and in its Monetary Analysis function, reporting to the MPC.

Please accept our apologies but this briefing is now at full capacity.
