We are delighted to announce Paul Tucker, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, as the speaker at SFE's next business briefing, to be held on Wednesday 21 October, 2009.
In his role at the Bank, Paul Tucker has responsibility for financial stability. He is also a member of the Monetary Policy Committee. As such, he is well placed to comment on the Bank's view of current economic activity and its latest forecasts, as well as having a particular concern with issues emerging from the financial crisis and recent market developments. He will offer an overview of key issues and then be keen to answer questions and hear views from SFE members.
