Rating agencies have been the focus of much attention in recent times. This session will provide insight into their role, the meaning of their ratings and lessons learned from the financial crisis. It will also examine the world of structured finance, and in particular the European market, where the credit and rating performance of securitisations has been much more robust than many might assume.
