SFE Business Breakfast with Robert Gardner, Senior Economics Adviser, The Royal Bank of Scotland

SFE is delighted to confirm our next member-only business breakfast with Robert Gardner, Senior Economics Adviser, The Royal Bank of Scotland on 4 December 2008 at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh.

Robert Gardner, who leads the Macroeconomics Team at RBS's headquarters in Edinburgh, will discuss the outlook for the global economy with emphasis on the UK. Robert and his team provide strategic advice and forecasts to RBS and its customers. Robert's primary focus is on the UK economy, but he has also held responsibility for the United States and the major Eurozone economies during his six years at RBS.

Prior to joining RBS, Robert worked for four years as an Emerging Markets Economist (covering Latin America and Asia) for a large UK financial institution and he has also worked as an Economic Advisor at HM Treasury. He holds a first class honours degree and a Masters in Economic Management and Policy (with distinction).
