Rory Bremner will once again take centre stage as compere for the 2026 Scottish Financial Services Awards, sponsored by EY. The awards take place in Glasgow on 29th October, during Scottish Financial Enterprise’s 40th year.
Renowned as one of Britain’s best-loved impressionists, Rory is celebrated for his wit, political satire, and ability to bring over 100 characters to life through his impressions. His work spans a wide range of television, radio and live performance roles, earning him a BAFTA and two British Comedy Awards.
Sandy Begbie CBE, CEO of Scottish Financial Enterprise, said: “Rory’s unique blend of humour and insight makes him perfectly suited to the role as compere and we’re excited to see the energy and enthusiasm he brings on the night.”
The annual Scottish Financial Services Awards are the industry-wide celebration recognising the contribution that firms and individuals have made to the sector and to wider society. This year’s awards are back in Glasgow at the Hilton Glasgow and will take place on the 29th of October.
Financial services firms are being encouraged to shine a spotlight on individuals or companies who have made a real difference through their achievements, innovation, growth or commitment to supporting customers - nominations remain open until on the 3rd July and you can submit your nominations here.
