Childline: Supporting future generations | Lunch & learn

The Scottish Financial Enterprise Young Professionals Network (SFE YP) is dedicated to shaping a workforce that is diverse, inclusive, and resilient for the future.

Through its Mental Health & Wellbeing Workstream, the network seeks to build a culture of compassion, allyship, and practical wellbeing across Scotland’s financial services sector.

In partnership with NSPCC and Childline, this Lunch & Learn session will shine a light on the challenges young people face today - from mental health and online safety to navigating the transition into adulthood and the workplace.

Led by a Childline Team Manager, the event will offer valuable insights into the issues young people are raising and provide practical ways to support them - whether as colleagues, mentors, friends, or family members.

Agenda:

12:30 - Welcome and intros

12:30 - NSPCC Presentation and Q&A

13:05 - Supporting Young People through Transitions

13:25 - Closing Remarks & Next Steps

13:30 - Event Close

This session is an opportunity to connect, learn, and make a real difference in understanding and supporting the next generation.

Together, we can help create environments - at home and at work - where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
